Artist 1: Crazy-go-lucky (or Fen) (http://www.furaffinity.net/user/crazy-go-lucky)|
Examples of work: Die Eine Geflugelte Engel, Hellgen Possession, Nuts and Bolts
Key example: Homerun!!! - Example of doing comic book panels with appropriate motion actions.
Lucky said he'll do us something special, a long sequence comic panel (perhaps in the style of a nike ad or something) where the ball goes from one goal keeper, to a defender, to a midfield and so forth until at the other end of the comic it hits the goal. This presents the perfect opportunity for each player to be wearing their own respective club shirt as it can be like one of those ad sequences.
Comic: £7.50 per person
Non-comic: £8 per person
Artist 2: Xywolf (http://miyakoxywolf.deviantart.com/)
Examples of work: Were taking you away, booking
Key example: And then the sun will shine
Will do the comic idea too.
£9 per person
***Thanks go to Kiffy for the follow that I copy and pasted:***
Artist 3: Weremagnus aka http://www.furaffini...ser/weremagnus/ is up for doing it.
She charges by the hour as opposed to per character... her rates are $40 per hour and she said it'd take about 7.5 hours in total :3
"I charge by the hour and my rates are $40.
For a piece like you are describing, you're looking at at least $300 (7.5 Hours) possibly more depending on how picky everyone is/revisions. This is at a fully coloured, professional quality illustration."
This would work out at $22 bux based on 13 peeps in the picture. More people less cost basically which is awesome.
Check out her FA :3
Update from weremagnus in regards to the price cap. And I quote...
"Depending on how detailed everyone would want it coloured (ie: rendered like crazy) I couldn't imagine it going any higher than $400 (that's 10 hours, which includes planning, compositions, revisions, etc) but I would say you're safely looking between $300-$340 range sort of thing."
Artist 4: Brittany Shadowwolf aka http://www.furaffini...any-shadowwolf/
"I have been looking for a project to challenge me as an artist.
As it is quite a complicated project, prices would be $15.00 for each char in a battle royal and $20.00 for each char which would appear in the comic."
Artist 5: Bakasam aka http://www.furaffini...t/user/bakasam/
"For the battle royal style picture a quote of £8 per character - assuming poses need to be nice and dynamic.
For the comic style I'd have to charge a bit extra, £10 per character. Simply because it's going to be a bit more work from the description, I'm assuming if it's settled on there would be a more exact guideline (like the order of players etc etc)."
Artist 6: Davidbowie aka http://www.furaffini...ser/davidbowie/
"While I personally am not open for commissions yet, I am however just getting ready to start collaboration commissions with a friend of mine and we may be interested. If this is something that interests you let me know and I can send you examples of our work. Characters would be $20 a piece, possibly $18 (I will talk it over with him.) It would most likely be for the battle royal style you were mentioning.
Also! I just talked to my collab partner. Characters would be $14 each, and it would be a full colour detailed piece."
EDIT: here are the examples he gave me:
"We don't have very many full body pictures yet, but we are working on that. c:"
Artist 7: Prawst aka http://www.furaffinity.net/user/prawst or http://prastshacker.deviantart.com/
is up for doing the project too... this makes me excite :3
Some examples of his work are as follows:
Just waiting on him getting back to me with a price quote which should be shortly...
Artist 8: Skaifox aka http://www.furaffini...t/user/skaifox/
"That sounds like fun! £12 per character sounds good to me. I happily accept. :3
Let me know the outcome of the vote"
Artist 9: Noir Noir aka http://www.furaffini.../user/noirnoir/
"I'm happy to do both group commissions at $15 per character and that be the price, nothing extra nor less as it'll cover everything fairly (BG, Shading prices, etc.). i'm thinking of just drawing it as it is in my style of shading shown <url=http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5881927>here and <url=http://www.furaffinity.net/view/5476806>here."
Artist 10: Magrcon aka http://www.furaffini...t/user/magrcon/
"I'm pretty interested in this so put me down for it =D also £12 per character seems reasonable =)"
may have made this redonkulously hard to pick an artist lol
Everyone has till Wednesday 29th June to put down their initial vote, than we'll do a daily one till we've got a majority vote at 50-51%.
After each round, if there isn't a clear 50-51% majority, at least 4 artists will be eliminated, either no votes, or lowest. No polling thingy, just say it in the comments nice and clearly.
Still time for people to state their interest and to vote for whether the pic will be a comic ball kicked from panel to panel, or a mayhem pic on the field.
